Because our hands receive so much exposure, it is one of the first places to start showing visible signs of ageing. Natural ageing, and exposure to sunlight, causes this appearance. The more common visible signs of ageing are darkened spots (age spots). A loss of fatty tissue also occurs, making our hands look bony.
Here at The Laser and Skin Clinic we have a number of treatments that can help restore a more youthful appearance to your hands.
 

Chemical Peel/TCA/Only Touch - Specially formulated hand peels are applied to the skin which cause age spots to disappear while the hand tissue appears less transparent.
 

Laser - Through short bursts of laser light, unsightly veins and dark "age" spots are gently removed from the hands.
 

Radiesse - a dermal filler which is injected into the dermis toplump the skin from within. The active ingredient calcium is found naturally in the body but its production decreases with time. l stimulates skin cell activity to increase the production of collagen and elastin, so hands look plump and youthful.
 

Mesotherapy - specially formulated vitamins mixed with a liquid filler are gently injected into the hands resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance.
