Is ESTHÉLIS safe?

Esthélis is a substance of natural origin which is safe and completely biocompatible and wholly biodegradable with no risk of allergy or other known side effects.

How many forms of Esthelis are there?

There are  different formulations depending on depth of lines and area being treated.

How long does it last?

The visible results of the treatment can last from 9 months to 12 months, depending on the individual.

How does it work?

Esthelis is administered by a  small injection that fills up the specific wrinkle facial area by replenishing the substance in the skin that stops wrinkles appearing, restoring the elasticity and firmess of the skin. Treament consists of a small injection of up to four units per area treated. The effect is instantaneous for a younger and refreshed look.

When can I ask my practitioner to perform a treatment using Esthélis?

How are Esthélis treatments performed?

During the session which lasts for about 30 minutes the practitioner will inject Esthélis into the area requiring treatment ie. naso-labial folds, lips, smile lines, crow’s feet , forehead wrinkles,cheeks depressions or scars.

Is this treatment painful?

Esthélis products have been designed to reduce treatment pain and patient discomfort. Your practitioner will, in addition, ask you about your sensitivity to pain. Depending on the answer, he or she may propose the use of a topical or local anaesthetic. 

How long will they last? How often should Esthélis injection sessions be performed?

You will immediately notice a distinct result in the area treated.
Increase of lips volume, enhancement of your lip’s contour, disappearance of wrinkles, filling in of deep folds or depressions…in about 30 minutes you gain 10 years. Your beauty objectives are achieved, in the most natural and smoothest way possible, Esthélis treatment results last for a long period (between 6 and 12 months).

What are the possible side effects of this type of treatment using Esthélis?

Esthélis products are made with a component that naturally occurs in human skin.  Since its launch no allergies or other side-effects have been reported by practitioners.  
Other side effects that may occur are mild swelling for for a few hours or with lip enhancement can last for 24 hours.
Bruising can occur but will subside after a few days and can be covered with make up.
